Crowcon MULTISCAN 8+

MULTISCAN 8+ is an innovative gas control unit, ideal for smallplants up to 16 detectors.

Extremely flexible, it allows to monitor gas detectors connected with both 4-20 mA transmission and addressable bus.

Every input can be configuraed for a different kind of gas in order to detect both flammable and toxic compounds as well as oxygen depletion and enrichment.

The backlit LCD display assures a precise indication of the gas concentration being measured and the alarm set points.

The MULTISCAN 8+ ABS cabinet can accommodate 2 x 12 VDC. 7Ah batteries to ensure its correct working when power supply fails.

The MULTISCAN 8+ is SIL1 approved and ATEX certified according to EN60079-29-1

The MULTISCAN 8+ Features:

• MULTISCAN 8+ gas control panel
• 8 Analog 4-20 mA inputs and 6 relay outputs on-board the panel
• 1 x RS485 type open bus line to connect additional 8 detectors through remote 8-input module or addressable gas detectors daisy chained to the RS485 bus
• 6 relay outputs and additional 16 relays via the dedicated STS/16REL card or via remote modules
• The panel comes complete with 1 RS232 serial port and 1 USB port for PC connection
• Housed in ABS box
